Fused Dichroic Glass Scope
This kaleidoscope is made by fusing dichroic glass bits to the body and powdered glass frit to the wheels. The legs have been fused and then slumped again in the kiln to their bent shape. The body of the scope is about 8" and with the wheels it's about 9". The inside has a two mirror system using front surface mirror. A two mirror system makes the image appear as a mandala at the end of a black corridor. An optic lens magnifies the image and keeps it crisp and sharp. These are meant to look as good sitting on a coffee table or desk as they are enjoyable to look through. Great conversation piece for company. Dated and signed.

The body of the scope is 8" long by about 1.5" each side. Including the glass wheels it is 9" long. The fused wheel is 3" wide.
Materials used
The scope body is black Bullseye stained glass. Dichroic glass has been fused to the body and legs. Powdered glass frit has been fused to the two wheels. Front surface mirror and an optic lens makes for high quality optics.
